The purpose of the meeting was to exchange best practices in the sphere of quality management systems and food safety management systems implementation.


The meeting was opened by Iryna Shudrik, Deputy Chairman and Director of hersonstandartmetrologiya State Enterprise. Carl Sturen, Director General of Chumak CJSC, addressed to the people present with the welcoming speech. He pointed out that non-formal attitude and conscience of top managers, corporative spirit of the whole team, from the CEO to an ordinary plant worker, play the key role in implementation of quality management systems.
During the meeting, specialists of Khersonstandartmetrologiya State Enterprise and Chumak CJSC made their presentations, which followed by lively discussions. The quality control system of Chumak CJSC aroused a keen interest. After the meeting, participants were invited to the production facility, where they observed the quality control systems at work. Managers appreciated such form of activities of the Oblast Quality Council and said that it had high practical relevance. They have first-hand experience of the quality systems implementation.
